THERE’S SOMETHING TRULY SPECIAL ABOUT CAPTURING THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE MOST, AND THIS FAMILY SESSION WITH THE MOREY FAMILY WAS EXTRA MEANINGFUL FOR ME.

 Not only was it my very first session since officially opening my photography business, but it was also with my sister, her sweet family, and their playful pup — making it a day I’ll always remember.

We met at the beautiful Van Lierop Park in Puyallup, Washington, a perfect spot for a springtime session. The field of flowers created the perfect backdrop, setting the stage for a fun family session to celebrate Mother’s Day.

I approached this session with a mix of gentle prompting and letting the real moments unfold naturally — lots of laughter, smiles and a whole lot of tail wagging from their pup.

As a photographer, it meant the world to me to be able to capture a moment in time for my own family. I wanted these images to feel like memories you can hold onto forever — nostalgic, film-like, and timeless. And when I look back at this gallery, I’m so proud that my vision truly came to life.
